10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m. Feb. 21-March 1. Hollywood Blvd. certainly has been called a wild place, but now it is the place to see “The Call Of The Wild.” Adapted from the classic Jack London adventure story, this 20th Century Studios production is a live-action/animation hybrid that utilizes cutting edge visual effects and animation technology to portray the animals in the film as fully photorealistic, as well as emotionally authentic, characters. Starring Harrison Ford, the PG-rated film follows Buck, a big-hearted dog is suddenly uprooted from his California home to the exotic wilds of the Canadian Yukon during the Gold Rush of the 1890s where he becomes the newest rookie on a mail delivery dog sled team. The heart-warming tale will be shown in brilliant Dolby Vision Laser Projection and Dolby Atmos Sound Technology. The El Capitan Theatre will again host its special Tiny Tot Tuesday for the first show every Tuesday, where parents and small children may enjoy the movie in a tot-friendly way – with lights dimmed rather than out and reduced sound levels.
