The American Contemporary Ballet opens its 10th season in L.A. with an immersive production of “The Nutcracker,” inspired by E.T.A. Hoffman’s romantic telling of the tale. The one-hour ballet will be performed to live music inside a snow-filled Land of Sweets. Kids can meet the Sugar Plum Fairy and the entire cast at a post-show reception. Performs Thursdays through Sundays Nov. 26 – Dec. 24. Check website for specific show times.
