This exhibit, the first large-scale museum presentation of his large-scale work, spotlights his amazing black-and-white photographs of the most remote areas around the globe. Among the 140 works on display are photographs from his Atlantic Basin Project, which documents the Atlantic Basin at its most extreme northern, southern, eastern, and western points. This exhibit also nicely coincides with the 500th anniversary of Magellan’s circumnavigation of the earth.
