Middle and high school students with special needs and their families are invited to the Frostig School Transition Fair. Two dozen government and non-profit agencies are participating in this free fair. Representatives from several local community colleges will be available to share information about resources and accommodations that are available to students with special needs. Landmark College, a Vermont school that serves students with dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder and other learning challenges, will also have a table at the fair. Other featured organizations specialize in career readiness, independent living, and vocational education. Participating agencies include East San Gabriel Valley Regional Occupational Program, Pathway at UCLA extension, Moving Forward, and SoCal Resources for Independent Living.
