For the 22nd year, this popular seasonal festival delivers bushels of autumnal amusements, like venturing into the Corn Maze and the Corn Stalk Labyrinth, and climb the giant hay pyramids. Other favorite attractions include the live chicken show, a train, the country games, and an array of performers (such a stilt walkers, ropers, and a singing cowboy). Meeting some barnyard pals at the Animal Center and watching the Animal Show (including Pig Races) are among the weekend-only attractions. Each weekend also boasts its own theme with special activities. Sept. 28-29 is the Friends of the Farm Weekend celebrating First Responders; Oct. 5-6 is the music-filled Farm Country Weekend; Antique Tractor Weekend arrives Oct. 12-13, while Oct.19-20’s Wild West Weekend presents cowboy-inspired entertainment. Oct. 26-27 is the traditional “All About Pumpkins” weekend. Besides all of the seasonal celebrations, the Fall Harvest Festival also serves as a fundraiser for many local organizations.
