Looking to get rid of extra Halloween candy? The MOMS Club of Glendale is collecting Halloween candy to send to our troops as part of Operation Gratitude. Members will be picking up candy from interested families and local businesses throughout the month of October as well as the first two weeks following Halloween.
If you have candy to spare, either left over from handing out to trick-or-treaters, from parties, Halloween sales or an excess that your children collect while trick-or-treating, consider giving to Operation Gratitude via the MOMS Club of Glendale.
Pack whatever candy you’d like to donate in zip-closure bags before pick-up. Operation Gratitude asks that you do not purchase candy specifically for this purpose, but donate only what you already have and consider making a financial donation instead.
If your neighborhood or business would like to participate, contact the MOMS Club so they may drop off informative flyers and schedule pick-ups in your area and/or place of business. Pick-ups will be scheduled through Nov. 14.
The MOMS Club is an international nonprofit support group catering to mothers who stay home with their children, including those that work from home or who work part time and are home with their children during the day. The group offers a wide range of activities, including special programs for mothers, playgroups for children and get-togethers for the whole family. The MOMS Club also performs service projects benefiting children in need in our community.
