In collaboration with Yoobi and Winston House, this event brings L.A. together to raise funds for students in LAUSD. The Back to School Anti-Bullying Youth Social also takes place Aug. 24, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Crenshaw United Methodist, 3740 Don Felipe Drive, L.A. This event features a 20-minute screening of the play “DELETED” by Valerie Udezor, a story about bullying among high schoolers and the consequences that come with it. The production is fitting for 5th to 12th-grade students. There will be food, giveaways and activities. The UCARE Foundation and SAVE OUR SONS bring this event together with celebrity guest speakers, including Sarah Schulbert and Bubba Ganter to speak on the topic of bullying and how to react appropriately.
