On March 4, over a thousand Dino Valley fans dawned their dino attire and danced along to the LEGOLAND brass band at the California Resort’s dino dance party. The celebration commenced with two announcements: the reveal of Dino Valley’s newest costume character, Paleontologist Girl, and the official opening of Dino Valley Land, which is set for March 22 at the Carlsbad park.
This new theme park addition features three thrilling rides, an interactive build-and-play area and prehistoric activities. Hop on a journey through the LEGO DUPLO Dino adventure where your little ones can use cameras to capture the dinosaurs and play hide and seek with them throughout the ride. Young adventurers will also enjoy the Explorer River Quest experience, where they can interact with LEGO dinosaur models along their river expedition. Attendants can explore the prehistoric era at the Coastersaurus ride. The jungle at Coastersaurus is inhabited by LEGO dinosaurs like the 1,100-pound Brachiosaurus and ten-foot tall Parasaurolophus. Another highlight of Dino Valley Land is the Interactive Dino Area where children can build dinos with LEGO DUPLO bricks, uncover fossils in the Dino Dig area and get a chance to meet and greet new costume characters!
But the celebrations don’t end there — LEGOLAND is rolling out their first LEGO World Parade in celebration of their 25th birthday year. The new parade will feature spectacular floats like a LEGO City Firetruck, a pirate ship and more. Sing and dance along as performers in glittering costumes entertain guests throughout the west side of the park.
