Only in L.A. can you grab a sandwich at Central Perk from “Friends” and explore Batman’s secret lair all in a day. Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood reopened June 26 with all-new experiences that gets fans even closer to the entertainment they love, like “Friends,” “Batman,” “Harry Potter” and much more.
The tour, which is now open to children five years and older, begins with the “Storytelling Showcase,” an overview of Warner Bros. including the breadth of the studio’s film, TV and animation titles and its technological innovations from its cinema chain origins in 1923. Guests can snap a photo with a replica of the iconic water tower as they walk along an aerial view of the studio lot. Tour guides lead guests to Stage 48: Script to Screen, the Studio Tour’s interactive sound stage. Here guests can get an inside look into their favorite sets, like Central Perk from “Friends” and Sheldon’s apartment from “The Big Bang Theory.”
Next, guests head to the “Action and Magic Made Here” grand finale, where they’ll get to experience the DC universe, like Batman’s secret lair, and step behind the scenes of “Harry Potter” to dabble in the art of potion-making. Other highlights include photo ops with the Lasso of Hestia from “Wonder Woman 1984,” Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn costume from “Suicide Squad” and Harry Potter’s cupboard under the stairs at 4 Privet Drive.
The tour concludes in the “Celebration of Awards Season” exhibit, which displays iconic treasures from Warner Bros. class films and TV shows like the trombone that Robert Preston played in “The Music Man” and a detailed miniature blimp from Ridley Scott’s “Blade Runner.”
After the tour guests can check out the brand-new Warner Bros Studio Store, which features a Personalization Area where fans can personalize a studio memento, like engraving a wand, a replica award and more. The store is also accessible to the general public.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood is located at 3400 Warner Blvd., Burbank, CA 91505. Starting July 15, the tour will operate Thursday to Monday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Tickets are $69 for adults (ages 11 and up) and $59 for children ages 5 to 10. Advanced reservations are required at wbstudiotour.com. Southern California residents are eligible for a special rate of $57 on weekdays through Sept. 30.
