Springfest Redondo Beach

Springtime Easter Festival

LoveBug & Me’s Spring Fling Play Day

Venice Love Fest

Celebrate love, community and creativity at Venice Love Fest. This free community festival brings together an incredible lineup of live music, delicious food trucks, over 400 locally made brands and artists, beer gardens, games, and family-friendly activities. 100% of the proceeds from the 21+ Social Garden tickets will be donated to support families affected by the fires, in partnership with @nourishl.a. Children’s Opera Festival

Come in costume and join Young Opera Theater for their Children’s Opera Festival. Tailored for kids to encounter opera, this hands-on festival features workshops with professional opera singers, food, games and more. More info.
Knott’s Boysenberry Festival
All day Fri., March 28 – April 27 | Knott’s Berry Farm
This year’s Knott’s Boysenberry Festival is a little sweeter! Southern California’s first theme park is marking its 10th anniversary of the beloved festival that celebrates the famous berry with more than 80 savory and sweet boysenberry menu items, a new line-up of shows, live music, 10th anniversary merchandise, and a wide selection of local crafters and artisans.
Entertainment includes a boysenberry pie eating contest, “The Great Bank Robbery,” an all-new show that will have the audience cheering the hero and booing the villain, Old MacDonald’s Barn, a tribute to one of the farm’s original attractions and more.
In the streets of Ghost Town, the yearly Boysenberry Festival Crafts Fair will be back in full swing with unique boysenberry-inspired artisan products from over two dozen local craft vendors. Also, returning to The Factory Store, come celebrate all things Boysenberry with fan favorite the “Tied Up in Knott’s” art show featuring pieces by the Knott’s community of artists. More info.
Holi & The Beach

Holi & The Beach returns to Redondo Beach Seaside Lagoon, a paradise by the water’s edge. Enjoy 180′ degree backdrop of water as you splash colors on your friends on the sandy beach. Holi & The Beach expands with two days on Saturday and Sunday with an all-new stage design, festival elements and bigger experiences.

OC Japan Fair 2025 Spring
12 p.m. – 10 p.m. Fri., April 4 – 6 | OC Fair & Event Center
OC JAPAN FAIR returns April 4-6. OC Japan Fair is the largest and the most authentic Japanese cultural festival in Southern California, with upgrading to more than 250 booths! Bunka-Sai Festival

Bunka Sai is a Japanese Cultural Festival and Torrance Sister City Association (TSCA)’s big fundraiser for their summer Student Exchange Program. This year’s event will take place April 5-6 with authentic performances including (but not limited to): traditional dance, music, tea ceremony, calligraphy, flower arranging, martial arts, taiko, origami, story reading, kimono dressing and more! KIDTOPIA – A Kids Day Festival
2 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Sat., April 5 | Pico Rivera Sports Arena
Perfect for kids ages 2-12 this festival is packed with exciting activities and entertainment designed to spark joy and wonder, including a petting zoo, inflatable fun zone, dance party, food vendors and more. Kid general admission ticket includes entry to the event, access to 4 special live shows, one face painting session, one photobooth picture, one bull ride (mechanical bull), entry to the jumper/inflatable zone and photo opportunity and meet & greet with special characters. LA Spring Fair 2025

45th LA Spring Fair is the largest Spring Festival in Los Angeles County with 12 acres of carnival amusement rides for adults and kids, live music (on Sat. and Sun.), carnival games, local artisans, food court and free photos with Easter Bunny (2-6 p.m. on Sat., April 19 and Sun., April 20, on a first-come, first-served basis). Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival
All day Sat., April 12 – 13 | William S. Hart Park
Grab your cowboy hats and boots for the 29th Annual Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival April 12-13. The western-themed musical festival returns to William S. Hart Park with three stages of cowboy, country, folk and bluegrass music, activities like hatchet throwing and mechanical bull riding, curated vendors showcasing western wares, food, beer and more. City of STEM + LA Maker Faire
9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Sat., April 12 | Exposition Park
City of STEM +LA Maker Faire is back! This year, enjoy a huge all-day outdoor extravaganza at Exposition Park. This free, all-ages event brings the best in creativity, science, math and technology. With over 200 exhibitors from across California, there will be something for everyone. Roll up your sleeves for hands-on activities, unique experiments, unexpected demonstrations and mind-expanding workshops. Bring your family and friends to enjoy delicious food trucks, live music, and celebrity appearances.
Presented by the Columbia Memorial Space Center and the Los Angeles Public Library, the festival is accessible by Metro and will feature English and Spanish programming. More info.
Monterey Park Cherry Blossom Festival

Planned and coordinated by community volunteers, the Cherry Blossom Festival strives to provide a cultural arts event that offers a forum for learning, entertainment, fun, and community support.

So take the time to see, hear, and taste a bit of the Japanese and Japanese American culture through a first-hand experience of watching traditional Japanese dancing, hearing the resounding beats of the taiko drums, observing the mastery and various skills of martial arts, participating in the ancient art of the tea ceremony, or buying hand-made crafts or food with an Asian flair. Other highlights of the Festival include games & crafts for children and numerous cultural displays. More info.
Bob Baker Day

Bob Baker Day celebrates the legacy of founder, Bob Baker, with puppets, art, and fun for the whole community! What began as a celebration of Bob Baker’s life and legacy, Bob Baker Day has grown into a huge festival in honor of the city of Los Angeles and its creative community. In response to the recent L.A. wildfires, this year’s Bob Baker Day is focused on recovery through the arts: partnering with Los Angeles artists and cultural organizations to uplift and heal through creativity and imagination. The California Poppy Festival

The California Poppy Festival™ is the City of Lancaster’s annual celebration of California’s state flower. From April 25-27, 2025, the event will honor the beauty of the poppy with live entertainment, amusement park rides, festival food, live animal exhibits, and countless activities for all ages at the AV Fair & Event Center.
Lancaster boasts one of California’s most abundant crops of vibrant poppies, the California state flower. During poppy season, the City, in partnership with the AV Fair & Event Center, puts on an event to welcome and introduce visitors to the Lancaster area. The annual festival plays host to the colorful poppies, which are an Antelope Valley springtime attraction. More info.
Westlake Village Earth Day Festival

Cozy up and watch “Wild Robot” on the baseball field, enjoy food, crafts, music, games and face painting, meet local vendors and learn about conservation efforts and investing in our planet!

2025 Cherry Blossom Festival in West Covina

This annual outdoor festival marks the beginning of spring; the newly emerging blossoms represent hope beauty and new life.
Every year this beloved festival brings a taste of Japanese American culture to our beautiful city of West Covina. With a focus on cultural food vendors and performances this free, all-ages event is a great way to learn more about Japanese American culture and is sure to be a fun-filled day with something for everyone to enjoy. Holland Festival Celebrating Dutch King’s Day

The Holland Festival honors Dutch culture and King Willem Alexander’s birthday with an enchanting Amsterdam-style family-friendly outdoor celebration.
Indulge in the flavors of Dutch street food-from kroketten and patat friet to Hollandse haring and poffertjes. Savor home-baked Dutch treats and imported delicacies. Experience the rich culinary fusion of Indonesian street food, a beloved part of Dutch heritage, featuring favorites like satay and lumpia.
Enjoy live music from a band and a Dutch DJ spinning traditional and modern tunes to keep everyone dancing and smiling. Try your hand at traditional Dutch games, browse unique finds at the flea market, and snap unforgettable photos against charming Dutch landscapes. Don’t forget to relax and mingle in the Heineken beer garden, featuring Holland’s iconic brew.

Great Big Family Play Day

The FestAbility is a free community event celebrating our special needs community and their families through a series of inclusive and adaptive activities. 39th Annual California Strawberry Festival
10 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Sat., May 17 – 18 | Ventura County Fairgrounds & Event Center
Strawberry-themed nachos, chocolate-dipped strawberries, strawberry kabobs, popcorn and margaritas are just a few of the choices. The festival also features 150 artists and crafters, a Strawberryland for kids, live entertainment on three stages, carnival rides and a “build-your-own” strawberry shortcake experience.
Trays of freshly picked, vine-ripened strawberries are available at the festival and used in festival strawberry-themed foods. More info.
Community & Unity People’s Kite Festival

Arts and culture nonprofit Clockshop’s 5th Annual Community & Unity People’s Kite Festival at Los Angeles State Historic Park will have live music, arts workshops and kites! Everyone is encouraged to make their own kite at home or at the Kite-Making Station to fly at the festival. More info.
33rd Annual Canoga Park Memorial Day Parade

Get ready for a spectacular tribute to heroes and heritage as the Canoga Park Community Center proudly hosts the 32nd Annual Canoga Park Memorial Day Parade. This heartfelt hometown event promises an unforgettable day of patriotic celebration, commencing with an opening ceremony at 10 a.m. and a vibrant parade starting at 11 a.m. along Sherman Way from Owensmouth Avenue to Cozycroft Street. This year’s parade honors the valiant sacrifices of Canoga Park High School graduates who served and fell in military conflicts from World War II onward. More info.
