From September 16 to 30 visit Taiwanese dessert chain Meet Fresh to try a one-of-a-kind creation, “Chef Max’s Thai Shaved Ice” and support No Kid Hungry. Chef Max Boonthanakit, Executive Chef at Michelin-starred Camphor in L.A. and founder of small-batch chili crisp brand BooN, created this limited-edition dessert inspired by his own Thai heritage. For every dessert sold, Meet Fresh will donate $5 to the No Kid Hungry charity, supporting their mission to end child hunger in the U.S..
Meet Fresh is also celebrating its tenth anniversary in the U.S. Since openings its first U.S. location in Irvine in 2014, the dessert chain has expanded to nearly 40 locations across the country, including 16 stores in Southern California. Angelinos can get a taste of the special Thai Shaved Ice treat at Meet Fresh in Arcadia, Cerritos, Hacienda Heights, Monterey Park, Temple City or West Covina.

In addition to Chef Max’s Thai Shaved Ice, Meet Fresh will launch a new series of Thai-inspired drinks to celebrate its anniversary. Thai Milk Tea, Fluffy Thai Milk Tea with Mini Q and more will be available at all Meet Fresh locations in the U.S. for a limited time.
