When life gives you masks, make them creative.
Most of us have come to accept that face coverings will be around for a while as we continue to do our part in protecting ourselves and others and reducing the number of coronavirus cases.
Our team at L.A. Parent sends a hearty thank-you to all of you donning those masks, and to show our appreciation, we’re hosting our first-ever mask contest!
Send us a photo of your child wearing their mask and tell us the story behind it. Is the mask homemade? Does it represent something? Where did they get it? How did you explain to your child why masks are needed without causing unnecessary anxiety?
Email your photos and responses to L.A. Parent Publisher Ron Epstein at ron.epstein@laparent.com, along with your name and phone number, your child’s name, age and grade level. Please send each photo as a 150 dpi jpeg file. The “large” photo setting on your phone will typically accomplish this. Judging will be done by L.A. Parent staff. Employees of L.A. Parent and their families are prohibited from entering.
The winner of our mask contest will be featured in an upcoming issue and on our website and will receive a $100 gift card from Fresh Brothers Pizza.
