An Exclusive Liftoff For L.A. Parent Readers:
The California Science Center, K2 Films and Giant Screen Films invite you and your family to a special event on Oct. 25. If you are looking for things to do in L.A., here is a great opportunity.
L.A. Parent readers and their families are invited to take an in-depth look at the hazards, as well as the possibilities, for human space exploration with Journey to Space: Exhibition and 3D Film at the California Science Center before it opens to the public Oct. 29. Guests will get a hands-on experience and learn what it takes to live and work in space with Journey to Space: The Exhibition and Journey to Space 3D Film, narrated by film and television legend Sir Patrick Stewart. The film offers an extraordinary vision of the future for living and working in space.
The exhibit preview will start at 10 a.m., with the film screening at 11 a.m. A Q&A moderated by L.A. Parent Editor Christina Elston with the film’s director, Mark Krenzien, will be held immediately following the screening.
