Debate Camp

Debate Camp offers a welcoming program in public speaking, parliamentary debate and Model United Nations for youth, grades 5 through 11. Now in our 24th summer, with program locations throughout North America – Debate Camp is now open in California with 1 week day and overnight / sleepaway options this July. We are open to students of all levels of familiarity with debate – from nervous speaker to competitive.

We generate a fun-filled and immersive program that inspires critical thinking, analysis and confidence with the spoken word – – all highly transferable skills for our time. Debate is generally a small group activity with a 1:8 teaching and feedback ratio.

We are accredited by the American Camps Association ensuring that Debate Camp operates at the highest standard of youth programming. Each day offers multiple opportunities for debate alongside related games and activities that make for a highly memorable week!
