More than 10,000 Ecuadorians and 5,000 people from other nationalities will enjoy a full menu of Ecuadorian cuisine, along with some other well-known food dishes, at this festive event. This cultural celebration also presents Ecuadorian crafts, musical groups, and folklore customs. Visitors can also play carnival games, check out various exhibitors booths and get free gifts. Featuring car clubs, dance groups, drill teams, convertibles, motorcycles, and 24 beauty queens, the annual parade starts at 11 a.m. on Broadway & 7th St. and proceeds north on Broadway until 4th St. then goes down Main St. before ending at Placita Olvera (the festival area). Placita Olvera, also known as El Pueblo de Los Angeles, is located right across the street from Union Station and one block from Chinatown.
