The Frostig Center invites parents and professionals to participate in a special presentation that will address the unique concerns related to serving adoptees in schools. The featured speakers are Angela Gee, MFT (a therapist in private practice); Jill Mattinson-Cruz (Adoption Promotion and Support Services Supervisor for Five Acres), and Robyn Joy Park (LMFT, therapist at The Center for Connection). The discussion will be moderated by Jennifer Quirina, LCSW, Director of Transition at Frostig School and an adoption social worker. The panelists will address issues that apply to domestic, international and foster adoptees, as well as students in general and special education programs. The event, which is part of The Frostig Center Speaker Series, is free and open to the public.
