- Trick or Treat in the garden at LA Arboretum and collect treats along their Freaky Flora route, a self-guided tour of 25 of LA Arboretum’s eeriest plants.
- Boonion Station returns to Union Station Oct. 30-31 with free, family-friendly activities like crafts and monster mash dance parties.
- Little Folk Club Halloween Edition encourages little ones to come in costume and bring a favorite instrument Oct. 29 to make music and have fun.
- Trick or Treat at The Collection at RiverPark in Oxnard Oct. 27 and get a chance to win a Spooktacular prize.
- Story Pirates Halloween Party Oct. 29 gives children a chance to show off their costumes and play games from the comforts of home.
- Spooky Seas: Haunted Tales Evening Adventure Oct. 29 – 30 at Ocean Institute features spooky sailor myths, sea scavenger hunt and more.
- Fall-O-Ween at Heritage Hill Historical Park Oct. 15-17 and Oct. 22-24 has plenty of seasonal fun for the whole family, including a hay maze and scavenger hunt.
- Seaside Skeleton Hunt at Ventura Harbor Village Oct. 30-31 invites you to enjoy ocean views while you search for skeletons scattered around the village. Find them all and have a chance to win a prize!
- Dress up your four-legged friends for Ventura Harbor Village’s HOWL-o-ween Dog Costume Contest Oct. 30.
- At the Kids Trick or Treat event at Ventura Harbor Village, kids can collect treats and decorate mini pumpkins donated by Underwood Family Farms.
- For a unique way to celebrate Halloween, grab a witch’s hat and paddle board for the 3rd Annual Witches Paddle Oct. 29 in Ventura.
- For a Halloween-themed parents’ night out, enjoy spooky laughs with The Groundlings Main Company when they debut their new sketch show, “Groundling on Elm Street” on Oct. 22.
