Colburn School

The Colburn School is committed to making the highest quality performing arts education available to all.

Passionate, dedicated students of all abilities and ages can study instruments, voice, drama, musical theatre, dance, and more with our world-class faculty. Our Community School of Performing Arts offers Early Childhood programs from ages 7 months–7 years, which introduce children to the wonders of the performing arts, and private music lessons, group classes, and ensemble programs are available from age 5 through to adult, for all levels of experience.

Our Trudl Zipper Dance Institute offers ballet, modern, tap, jazz, and hip-hop classes for students ages 4 to adult, from beginner to pre-professional level. All programs take place on our beautiful campus in the heart of DTLA’s Grand Avenue.
