California Firefighters Memorial Ceremony with California Fire Foundation

Join the California Fire Foundation for the annual California Firefighters Memorial Ceremony on Saturday, October 3, honoring 37 California fire service professionals whose names will be added to the California Firefighters Memorial.

The ceremony recognizes the service and sacrifice of firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting California communities. The Memorial, maintained by the California Fire Foundation, currently carries the names of more than 1,500 fallen California firefighters.

The ceremony takes place during October Firefighter Appreciation Month, giving families and communities an opportunity to come together, remember fallen firefighters and show gratitude to the men and women who serve and protect Californians.

Can’t attend in person? The ceremony will also be livestreamed in high definition beginning at 3 p.m. on the California Fire Foundation’s YouTube and Facebook channels.
