The Nisei Week Japanese Festival returns to Little Tokyo Aug. 15-23 for nine days of cultural activities and celebrations. One of the longest running ethnic festivals in the US, Nisei Week highlights include the Grand Parade Aug. 16 and a Plaza Festival Aug. 22-23.

The parade starts on Central Ave. heads west down 2nd St., north on San Pedro St., and east on 1st St. Plaza Festival takes place at the JACCC plaza, featuring food, games, booths and live entertainment. Close out the festival with Nisei Week’s finale, Ondo Public Street Plaza.
