5:30-10 p.m. Thu.-Sun. Nov. 21-Jan. 5. If you’ve been looking for a 100-yard-long ceramic Chinese Dragon, a 85-foot-wide lantern arch, or a 20-foot-high flower basket – this is the place where you will them and other amazing luminescent displays. “Blooming Seasons” is the theme for this year’s festival, which will contain over one thousand lanterns inspired by the four seasons. While inspired by the thousand-year-old art of Chinese lantern making, each festival is made of modern materials and eco-friendly technology with brilliantly-lit colored LED light bulbs. Many also include musical enhancements, sound effects, visual moving parts that create larger-than-life imaginative shapes. Presented by Hanart Culture, this holiday spectacular has mythical creature rides for children (with adult supervision), authentic live Chinese folk musical concert and traditional dance show, and seasonal displays (such as photo opp with lantern Santa Claus. Folk art souvenirs, food and concessions will be available for purchase. Inclement weather can close the festival but purchased tickets can be used on another day.
