Children and their parents are invited to this free monthly series that is designed to be engaging and educational for elementary age children (5-11 years). Each session will include a short, age-appropriate history lesson in the galleries followed by a related craft or activity. This month’s theme explores innovation in Santa Monica with youngsters being able to construct a monster box with a rotating as the craft activity. By creating something with their own hands related to the history topic, kids will further enhance their memories of the history lessons. RSVP is requested, but registration also is available at the door. For more information or to RSVP, please call the museum or email info@santamonicahistory.org
