Created by a director from England’s Royal Shakespeare Company and a retired Disney Imagineer, Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles’ fast-paced, 90-minute immersive production presents Shakespeare’s “Scottish Play” in a fascinating new way. In SCLA’s 22,000 square-foot building, the audience moves from the foggy Scottish Heath and the wind-whistling castle in Invernesss to the witches coven and the doomed Macduff’s house and, along the way, encountering floating daggers, tapestries that come to life, and bleeding walls. Just as impressively, only nine actors perform the play’s 20 characters. Ages 9 and older.
