School is almost out and we’re all wondering what summer will look like – especially summer camp. Virtual camps are popping up everywhere, but are they going to be fun and engaging? Can Zoom bring all the joys of friendship bracelets, tug of war and singing the morning welcome song?
Join us at 11 a.m. June 11 to learn more about virtual summer camps directly from experts. Bring your questions for the Q&A session.
Participating camps include:
Got Game’s Virtual Summer Academy focuses on reading, writing comprehension and math, featuring a team of credentialed teachers and TA’s to help students prepare for the next grade level. The afternoon program brings in fun exercise, arts, entertainment, creative expression and social-skills activities.
Maybe your kids have an idea for a great app. At this camp, they can work on a mixture of weeklong coding projects, challenges, tech talks and small-group collaborations with breakout rooms and interactive games. They’ll have the opportunity to share their creations with fellow campers and parents.
If your kids love the stage, they can spend the summer participating in dance, acting and singing workshops and enjoying theater games, improv, guitar, magic, debate and LOL comedy.
The Help Group’s Kids Like Me
Neurodiverse 6-21-year-olds with autism spectrum disorder and other special needs will be able to engage in, experience and explore various social skills and fitness activities, play games, conduct science experiments, and express themselves through arts and crafts.

Caregivers can join the summer fun and explore physical activities, creative activities and end-of-day caregiver connection activities, guided by experts, to help parents and children relate in meaningful ways.
Kids can create their own home lab (with their own personal lab kit) while exploring immersive STEM experiences via an interactive STEM curriculum crafted by credentialed teachers. Participants conduct five home experiments with topics including DNA, health, viruses and the body, tech for good and fun, water and food science.
