Lauren Pisano – Lauren is a warm and wonderful photographer who turns her lens toward families and a variety of other subjects. Lauren studied photography at the School of Visual Arts in New York, where she was born and raised. Her work has been shown in various galleries in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Valerie Tabor Smith – Valerie is a celebrated children’s photographer who specializes in photographing infants and adorable babies. She has been photographing covers for L.A. Parent for many years and always manages to capture children at their most magical.
Jodye Alcon – Jodye’s love for photography started at the tender age of 8 when on a vacation, her father’s camera was stolen. She quickly became the family photographer with her 110 Instamatic and has been has been capturing life’s most precious moments ever since. A graduate of the Brooks Institute of Photography, Jodye specializes in family and pregnancy portraits, bat/bar mitzvahs and weddings. Her quirky sense of humor and flexible style result in images, which are loosely traditional with a photojournalistic flair.
Tanya Alexis – Tanya believes that children are the perfect blend of innocence and wisdom. Their curiosity inspires her and pushes her creativity and her photography to new heights. She photographs them at home, at play, at ease, at peace, and occasionally mid-scream. What started out as a hobby, over a decade ago, now takes up all of her time. She considers herself first and foremost an artist, and second a photographer.
