Join the museum in the Book Arts Lab to print a collection of four pre-set letterpress posters that you can hang in your window, give to friends, or bring to marches. No experience needed—just drop in to print, engage, and leave with something bold that you literally cranked out on the Museum’s Vandercook presses. Feel free to stay for a tour of the Museum, which will be open until 4 p.m.

Women’s History Month: Artist Clara Driscoll

Join the LA County Library to learn about Clara Driscoll, an artist who was pivotal to the success of Tiffany glass art. Driscoll’s designs included dragonflies, daffodils, and wisterias. Santa Monica Pier Ferris Wheel Lighting Ceremony in Honor of International Women’s Day

Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier celebrates Women’s History Month with a special lighting of the Pacific Wheel on March 8, International Women’s Day. The solar-powered Ferris wheel will feature purple, green and white lighting, the colors of International Women’s Day that signify justice, dignity, and hope.
This special lighting event will take place on the evening of Saturday, March 8. The Ferris wheel lights can be seen from dusk (around 6-7 p.m.) until 11:35 p.m. each evening. Enjoy watching the light program online at pacpark.com/live. More info.
