Bob Baker Marionette Theater brings back this all-ages Angeleno tradition, encouraging guests to make their own holiday memories with an entire season of puppetry and one-of-a-kind events.
Since the 1980s, Angelenos and tourists alike have incorporated the show into their Halloween celebrations. From a tap-dancing Frankenstein to visitors from outer space to a friendly People Purple Eater, there is no spooky show quite like BBMT’s Spooktacular. This year’s production also includes an ode to Día de los Muertos, which celebrates the Theater’s community in a distinctly Bob Baker way. First created for BBMT’s reimagined ¡FIESTA! show in 2022, marionette calaveras honor and celebrate the theater’s ancestors, family, and Los Angeles community.
In addition to the rest of the season, a sensory-friendly version of Hallowe’en Spooktacular will be offered on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 10:30 a.m.
