Summer is the perfect season for sports, sunshine, and making memories with the family, and this year, Oxnard and the Dallas Cowboys are teaming up to create a new local tradition. From July 22 through August 13, LA-area families can experience the excitement of the Dallas Cowboys Training Camp, featuring open practices, autograph signings, kid zones, VIP experiences, and fan events, all free and open to the public. Just a quick drive up the 101, this two-week celebration promises unforgettable moments both on and off the field.
It’s time again for America’s Team to make its anticipated return to Oxnard for the annual Dallas Cowboys Training Camp 2025. Each year, visitors and residents of Oxnard welcome the team all the way from their regular training spot, “The Star,” in the Lone Star State in Frisco, Texas. For LA local families, the trip is sweeter, just up the 101 and offers a jam-packed experience!
Football fans get the opportunity to see the boys in blue along with their favorite coaches up close and in action! The fun-for-the-whole-family festivities begin with the first open practice on July 22 and run through the final open practice on Aug. 13, with much to do in between! The two-week experience boasts a spread of activities, including autograph signings, kid zones, chances to win exclusive Dallas Cowboys merch and VIP opportunities. The Dallas Cowboys Training Camp will kick off with the 66th annual Cowboys Back Together Weekend event. Join Dallas Cowboys alumni, the Dallas Cowboys’ beloved mascot, Rowdy, and the often imitated, never equaled Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders for a day of autograph signings, prizes and nonstop entertainment! This fan-tastic event starts at 11:15 am at River Ridge Playing Fields and leads right up to open practice! VIP experiences include early access to the Dallas Cowboys Training Camp before it opens to the public and fence-line access. You can be front and center to interact with the boys in blue!
Oxnard Fan Night
The highlight of Dallas Cowboys Training Camp is sure to be Oxnard Fan Night. Join fellow fans at The Collection at RiverPark on July 25 to witness America’s Sweethearts, The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, take center stage! If you’re seeking free fun for the entire family, attending Oxnard Fan Night should be your goal. America’s Sweethearts will be performing up close for fans in Oxnard. This year, Oxnard Fan Night is hosted by ZEALE, half of southern rap duo Blackillac, and features the Dallas Cowboys Mascot, Rowdy, Cowboys trivia and more! Rumor has it another special guest is slated to appear; stay tuned to socials for that announcement. The fun starts right at 4 pm, so arrive early. This event promises a crowd and fans of America’s Team won’t want to miss a beat!
DCC Clinic
If your family has tweens who like to groove or who have hopes of one day joining America’s Sweethearts on the field, The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleading Clinic is the place to be! The free dance clinic will take place on Sunday, July 25 at 2 pm. It is the best place for kids who want to
channel the energy from watching the team on the field. The DCC Clinic may even be a dream come true for any hopefuls between the ages of 6-16 looking to learn some of those iconic Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders’ moves!
Fun Off-Field
