If your family is finally ready to adopt a cat or dog, this Sunday might be your lucky day.
On Sept. 25, BOBS from Skechers and Petco Love are hosting an adoption event to help some shelter pets find loving homes. Cats and dogs from Los Angeles County Animal Care & Control will be available for adoption at the BOBS from Skechers Manhattan Beach Store.

BOBS from Skechers is teaming up with partner Petco Love, a national nonprofit working to lead and inspire change for animals, to encourage animal adoptions by hosting events at Skechers retail stores in conjunction with animal welfare partner organizations affiliated with Petco Love. These animal adoption events are the latest in Skechers’ lifesaving commitment to help save and support shelter pets. Skechers donates funds through purchases of its diverse collection of BOBS shoes, apparel and accessories. To date, the company has contributed $8.5 million, funds that have helped save and support more than 1.6 million shelter dogs and cats in the U.S. and Canada.
“We established BOBS for Dogs to save animals in need, and bringing adoption events to our Skechers stores through local shelters, like Los Angeles County Animal Care & Control, allows us to extend the life-saving work we’re undertaking with Petco Love,” said Michael Greenberg, president of Skechers. “We hope that at the end of the day, this is a win for these deserving animals and their devoted pet families who are about to start their journey together.”
This week’s adoption event will take place 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25 at he BOBS from Skechers Manhattan Beach Store, 228 Manhattan Beach Blvd. in Manhattan Beach.
