Families in Los Angeles who have children who learn differently have the benefit of a number of specialized service providers in our community who will help develop social and academic skills and be part of the growth of the child – along with the parents. One of those providers is 360 Behavioral Health, which has centers throughout the state and a vision to provide exceptional care for young people who have Autism or other developmental delays.
We chatted with Kate Sheldon Princi, the CEO of 360 Behavioral Health, about what makes their treatment approach successful, and the history of 360.
How and when did 360 Behavioral Health get its start?
360 Behavioral Health was founded over 30 years ago in Los Angeles by husband-and-wife psychologists, Dr. Ali Sadeghi and Dr. Leili Zarbakhsh. Their vision was to redefine autism care by building a comprehensive, evidence-based support system for individuals and families. What began as a small, family-owned practice has since grown into one of the largest and most experienced providers of ABA-based behavioral health treatment and supportive services. Today, we continue to honor their mission — delivering high-quality care that empowers children, strengthens families and transforms lives.
What is your mission/goal?
To make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality and evidence-based care that helps every child reach their full potential. Beyond treatment, we focus on fostering independence, building life skills and empowering families with the tools and support they need for long-term success.
How many families do you have/treat?
Thousands of children and families across California and beyond rely on 360 Behavioral Health for life-changing care. As we expand to serve more communities, we remain deeply committed to delivering personalized, high-quality support while staying rooted in our Los Angeles headquarters. Our reach may have grown, but our mission remains the same: to provide exceptional care, one family at a time.
What sets 360’s treatment approach apart from other programs?
What makes our approach unique is our deep commitment to truly understanding and supporting each child — beyond just the clinical aspects of care. When we welcome a child into our services, we assess their needs holistically and collaborate closely with their caregivers to define what matters most to them. Our goal is not just to treat; it’s to enhance quality of life.
While we specialize in early intervention for newly diagnosed children, our services extend far beyond that. We provide a comprehensive suite of support programs — many at no cost to families — including:
- Home, school and clinic-based ABA therapy
- Remote and in-home caregiver training
- Social and adaptive skills programs
- Specialized respite services
- Around-the-clock enhanced personal assistance
This whole-child, whole-family approach ensures that each child receives care that is personalized, effective and impactful at every stage of their development.
What benchmarks do you use to measure success?
Success isn’t a one-size-fits-all concept, it’s deeply personal. Each child’s journey is unique, and our dedicated clinicians carefully track progress toward individualized goals, ensuring that therapy is making a tangible difference.
We also believe that family experience is a key measure of success. That’s why we’re proud to maintain a 95% caregiver satisfaction score, which is a testament to the trust families place in us and the real-world impact of our care. For us, success means helping every child gain the skills they need to navigate the world with confidence and independence.
What is the most gratifying part of your job?
The most rewarding part of life at 360 Behavioral Health is witnessing the life-changing impact of our services — seeing a child communicate their needs for the first time, develop meaningful connections with family and peers or successfully transition into school.
I began my career in ABA as a behavior technician before becoming a BCBA, and those early experiences shaped my deep appreciation for the power of this work. I’ve had the privilege of helping children find their voices, gain independence and build skills that set them up for success in life. Today, I am surrounded by an incredible team of dedicated, highly skilled clinicians who experience those same moments of success every day. That’s what makes working at 360 Behavioral Health more than just a career. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
