To honor and support firefighters, Planet Fitness is offering free “Black Card” memberships to help those in the greater Los Angeles area with ongoing mental health, wellness and recovery. During the January wildfires across Los Angeles County and other parts of Southern California, many firefighters experienced high-trauma situations as many people lost loved ones, pets, businesses and homes.  

Rather than offering just free gym membership, Planet Fitness has added wellness perks that come with the Black Card membership including: 

• Massage chairs
• Hydromassage
• Red light therapy (as part of the Total Body Enhancement program)
• Ability to bring a guest with each visit

Available exclusively to redeem in-club, firefighters need to present valid proof of employment (e.g., badge or pay stub) when visiting their local Planet Fitness in Ventura, Riverside, Los Angeles, San Bernardino or Orange Counties to obtain their free 2025 membership. The offer is valid through Dec. 31, 2025.

This initiative is a part of Planet Fitness’s ongoing commitment to supporting those who serve our communities.
