It’s that time of year where we reflect on 2021 and think about what’s in store for us in 2022. But if there’s anything this past year has taught us, it’s to appreciate the here and now. We’ve rounded up a few fun events happening on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day so that you and your family can relish the present and make memories to reflect upon when that time comes again.
Jurassic Quest features over 100 life-like dinosaurs, dinosaur-themed rides, interactive science and art activities, photo ops and more at the Anaheim Convention Center and it’s open New Year’s Day.
Disney on Ice features your favorite Disney characters Dec. 30 – Jan. 2 at Long Beach Arena.
Catch fireworks over the marina from Burton Chase Park at 8:59 p.m. and again 11:59 p.m. on NYE.
Spend the first day of 2022 with live music at Salute to Vienna New Year’s Concerts at Segerstrom Center for the Arts at 7 p.m.
Kids can join in on the fun with two NYE events just for them. Noon Years Eve Party at SoCal Kids Museum features a confetti drop at noon, dance party and more surprises and Happy Noon Year at Children’s Museum La Habra features dancing, crafts and balloon drop.
You don’t even have to leave the house with DJ Squirm a lot Virtual New Year’s Eve Party Bash.
However, if you’re looking to celebrate with the community try Japanese American Museum ‘s Oshogatsu Family Festival or Little Tokyo’s Omisoka New Year’s Eve festivities or their Oshogatsu New Year’s Day event.
