Halloween is in just a few weeks, and many children around the country will be donning customs and asking neighbors for sweet treats, but UNICEF USA is inviting children and adults alike to do something different: “Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF.”
Instead of going trick or treating simply for the fun of it, what about choosing to help others? Led by model and UNICEF ambassador Heidi Klum, UNICEF’s Halloween fundraiser experience will once again feature the popular little orange box, and kicks off via the UNICEF USA website, where participants of all ages can get involved just in time for Halloween.
How to trick-or-treat for UNICEF
This annual event, which returned at the beginning of October, is an opportunity to showcase the work of UNICEF by highlighting how the work of the organization has helped children from 190 different countries. The overall mission of UNICEF is to emphasize the importance of dignity and respect for all children by making sure that they have access to the most important necessities, including education, health access and safety by making sure that every child is protected from harm.
