Thanksgiving at Catalina Kitchen

Overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island, Catalina Kitchen at Terranea Resort will celebrate Thanksgiving with an all-day buffet featuring holiday favorites, fresh seafood, sushi, seasonal dishes and desserts.

Thanksgiving brunch will be served from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with selections including smoked salmon on mini bagels, farmhouse scrambled eggs, French toast, pancakes, omelets, cured meats and California cheeses. A seafood bar will offer ahi tuna tartare, tiger shrimp and lobster rolls, while the carving station will feature turkey breast, prime rib and roasted lamb chops. Brunch also will include salads, clam chowder, stone-oven pizzas and seasonal desserts. From 2 to 9 p.m., the Thanksgiving dinner buffet will feature Boursin mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, roasted yams, fried Brussels sprouts, shrimp scampi, pork loin with maple-pecan glaze and lemon-caper chicken. Seafood selections will include lobster tails and snow crab legs, with Berkshire ham and herb-crusted prime rib at the carving station. Seasonal desserts will round out the meal.
