Tree Lighting Ceremony at Plaza West Covina

Plaza West Covina is kicking off the holiday season with its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, the most awaited Tree Lighting in the San Gabriel Valley. Guests can join Santa, Mrs. Clause and their friends to use their holiday magic and light up the Plaza West Covina tree! The Tree Lighting Ceremony will feature character photo ops, giveaways, a UNIDOS Holiday Market, an exclusive penguin experience, a snow play zone and live performances.
4:00pm – 8:00pm Sat, Nov 16 | Old Town Newhall
Immerse yourself in festive fun across all five blocks on Main Street, featuring food trucks, live entertainment, photo opportunities, kids activities, and holiday shopping. As the sun sets, be among the first to witness Old Town Newhall aglow with thousands of dazzling holiday lights. Bring your friends and family for an unforgettable holiday experience!
Tree Lighting Ceremony at The Promenade at Westlake
4:00pm – 8:00pm Fri, Nov 22 | The Promenade at Westlake
The Promenade at Westlake Christmas celebration features a whimsical show complete with live musical performances, sparkling fireworks, a picturesque snowfall and a special appearance from none other than Santa Claus.
Guests are encouraged to arrive as early as 4 p.m. to enjoy strolling entertainment through the center and a curated Holiday Market of treats and in-store perks before the magic of the Tree Lighting Ceremony begins at 7:30 p.m.
9th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
6:00pm – 9:00pm Mon, Nov 25 | Union Station
Los Angeles Union Station will hose its 9th annual Tree Lighting in the station’s historic Ticket Concourse, the first time this section of the station has been open to the public during the holiday season.
Guests can enjoy live musical performances from Kingston Ska Collective with Members of Western Standard Ska Orchestra and Los Rebeldes Romanticos and engage in numerous activities throughout the station during this magical, family-friendly evening. In the Waiting Room, attendees can stop for photo opps with Santa and the Elves before visiting the station’s “North Pole” on the North Patio where they’ll find arts and crafts, milk and cookies and more courtesy of McDonald’s of Southern California.
Visitors can continue to experience the magic of the holidays at Union Station with must-see holiday décor from Nov.22 to Decc. 25.
Christmas at The Grove Tree Lighting Celebration
7:00pm Mon, Nov 25 | The Grove
The 23rd Annual Christmas at The Grove Tree Lighting Celebration Presented by FOX 11 will feature a star-studded show hosted by Lance Bass and feature legendary Music Director Rickey Minor. The celebration will include live musical performances by Ryan Tedder, Maren Morris, Rachel Platten, Robin Thicke, Jesse McCartney, Abi Carter and Sheléa, all singing beloved holiday classics from the likes of Christmas icons Nat King Cole, Dean Martin and more.
Guests will also be treated to special performances from Cirque du Soleil’s KOOZA and Asher Entertainment, a very merry welcome from Santa Claus, a flurry of picture-perfect snowfall, the lighting of The Grove’s iconic 100-foot white fir Christmas tree and an enchanting drone and fireworks finale.
Dos Lagos Tree Lighting Ceremony & Santa Arrival
6:00pm – 8:00pm Sat, Nov 30 | The Shops at Dos Lagos
The Dos Lagos Tree Lighting Ceremony will have Winter Kids’ festivities, Santa photos, DL Polar Express Train, face painters, balloon twisters, crafts, games, vendors, free screening of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” (2000), and more. The tree lighting ceremony starts at 5 p.m., followed by the festivities at 6 p.m.
11:00am – 12:30pm Sun, Dec 1 | Pretend City Children’s Museum
Kick off the holiday season with Pretend City’s enchanting Tree Lighting Ceremony. Join the museum as they welcome winter with festive cheer, cookies, and, hot cocoa, and a special visit from Santa.
4th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
7:00pm Fri, Dec 6 | The Cube
Come sip on some hot cocoa and wear your warmest scarves and gloves as you watch the fourth annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Santa Clarita City Council along with LA Kings mascot Bailey, and city’s own Sammy Clarita flip the switch on the tree. After the event, enjoy public skate around the tree with family and friends.
